  • Distortion in fusion welding – roots & remedies
  • The significance of WPS, PQR & WPQR in a fabrication shop

  • Basics of destructive & non-destructive tests

Course Practical
  • Live demo & hands-on experience with Cutting, Brazing and Welding to familiarize with the variables of welding processes – i.e. OAW, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW& SAW, influence quality
  • Live demo and hands-on experience with the methods of Destructive Testing – includes Metallographic (Macro & Micro), All-weld/Transverse -Tensile, Bend, & Impact-tests
  • Live demo and hands-on experience with Non-Destructive Testing methods i.e. VT, PT, MT, UT & interpretation
  • Making smart use of weld-gauges & tools by the participating welding inspectors
  • Observation, identification, and evaluation of the weld discontinuities & defects
