Certification Of Welding Coordinators As Per EN ISO 14731 (TUV-Rheinland Certified Program)

Course Code: CWC-01

Duration: Six Days

Course Objective
The profession of certified welding coordinators (CWCs) is a high-ranking mandatory role required by the industry, dealing particularly with the standards prevalent as CE, EN, or ISO with comprehensive, specific, and basic-technical knowhow for planning, supervision & testing at welding fabrication site or shop. Timely review of fabricator’s capability in line with the requirements of product standard along with supplementary prerequisite, if any, shall be the major routine tasks & responsibilities to ensure an acceptable quality product without the rework or rejection.

  • Safety precaution essentials for the weld-shops in industry
  • Overview of welding and cutting processes
  • Class, type, and specifications of weld joints
  • Drawing understanding with Signicance of welding symbols
  • Documents governing welding inspection ISO-9001,3834-2 & EN 15085
  • Physical states of metals critical for the destructive tests; EN ISO 5178 / 9016 / 5173 / 9015 – 1 & 2
  • Basics of welding metallurgy& heat-treatments;
  • Imperfections in welded joints and the limits for acceptance as per EN ISO 5817
  • Basics of nondestructive tests & usability criteria. EN ISO 17635
