Vijay Jadhav is in the field of welding since 1976. He is a Vendor Development & Industrial Engineering. He is implementing various technological processes at supplier’s end, along with vendor’s evaluation, rating, education, cost reduction, formulation strategies for procurement of strategies materials, implementing green channel vendor concept, cycle time reduction at vendor’s end to reduce lead times and thereby inventories. He has an experience of more than 43 years. He has complete International Welding Engineering diploma from DVS- SLV Duisburg Germany. Since 2005, he is formulating policy for introducing Welding Technology at various vendors as per International welding standards like ISO 15085 etc. Implement some of the welded cabinets for Indian railway applications: like ECC- Welded Electrical Control Cabinets, WDG4 Inverters- Welded cabinets for locos, Hotel Load Inverters welded cabinets, under slung cabinet for AC Coaches and Auxiliary Cabinets etc. His main focus is on Process Improvements, Cost- Reduction, and Lean Manufacturing, and currently he is with Institute of Welding & Testing Technology.
